CALL TO ACTION: (November, 2024)

Fifth Parole Hearing Opposition:

Electronic and Mail Campaign

Sergeant Timothy J. Henck was 30 years old and a 9-year veteran when he was killed in the performance of his duty in 1995. Tim left behind his wife, Kathleen and their 6-week-old daughter, Jennifer. The man responsible, Arthur Adinolfi, Department Identification Number (DIN) 96A4871, was 37 years old and a career criminal. He was convicted of Murder 2 and sentenced to life in prison.

Mr. Adinolfi was granted an early parole hearing on June 16, 2020, a second hearing a mere six months later in December 2020, again in September 2022, and yet again in December 2023.

Thanks to the tremendous showing of opposition, as a direct result of our campaigns, he has been denied parole each time.  WE NEED YOUR HELP ONCE AGAIN!

This continues to be terribly traumatic for Kathy Henck and the family to have to go through this repeatedly.

Kathy was told by the parole office of victim assistance that the incredible outpouring of public opposition to Adinolfi's release absolutely impacted the board’s decision not to release him during the past two hearings.

We have proven to be successful in the past, so we can do it again!

Therefore, Kathy and I are asking everyone to take two minutes to complete the very short online form and let your opposition be heard. Please follow the link, https://doccs.ny.gov/form/letters-in-support-or-opposition, fill in the required information, and click submit.

The information required for the inmate as listed on the form is as follows.

DIN #: 96A4871

Last name: Adinolfi

First name: Arthur

Subject of your email: Opposition to parole

Comments: I reaffirm my opposition to this subject being paroled.

Please make any comments as you see fit.

Personal letters do yield a significant impact on the parole board. If you prefer to write and mail a letter, the address is below. Additionally, we have drafted a letter that is available on the Sgt. Timothy J. Henck tab on the SOA website for you to print and sign. We offer it with SOA letterhead for members and without SOA letterhead for anyone else who would like to utilize a template. If you write your own letter, it is imperative that the prisoner’s name and DIN number are on the letter.

However you choose to participate, please do this as soon as possible as we want to ensure that the parole board receives everything prior to the hearing.

We will also be conducting another social media campaign to help us spread the word and show support to the Henck family. We have social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube. The links for these can be found on the homepage of our website. Please share our posts if you utilize those platforms.
